I was born May 18, 1959 in a very small town called Delevan in the great cheese-head state of Wisconsin ... just before I turned six ... we moved to Virginia ... where I attended school and grew up to become the woman I am today ...
I have an older brother ... David ... he and his wife ... Brenda (his "Junior" High sweetheart) have a son ... Robbie ... and a daughter ... Ashley ... I also have an older sister ... Karen ... she has 2 sons ... John and Michael ... and a daughter ... Brandy ... so I have 3 nephews and 2 nieces ...
I ... myself ... raised 2 boys ... as a single mom ... became a grandma ... the first time ... at 37 years old ... and sorry guys ... I finally ... after almost 42 years on this earth ... married my soul mate ... Brian ... the sweetest guy ever ...
Eric Paul ... my eldest ... born December 1978 ... blessed me with my first grandson ... Eric KaSean ... March 1997 ... then Eric and his current girlfriend ... Amanda ... blessed me with two more grandsons ... DiMon Marquise ... July 1999 ... and the newest addition to the family ... Angelo D'aray ... born August 2001 ... Eric and his family live in Florida ... Eric's dream is to one day own his own martial arts dojo ... he is extremely gifted in gymnastics and loves acrobatics ... for his birthday 2002 ... I sent him and Amanda to see Cirque Du Soleil in Saint Petersburg ... they were very thrilled and had a fantastic time ... I was very happy I could give him this very special gift ...

Quintus Jermaine ... my baby boy ... born October 1981 ... also blessed me with a grandson ... Quintus JyNique ... born June 1999 ... and ... Grandma Taz was finally blessed with a granddaughter ... Jada Marie ... born July 2000 ... Jermaine still lives here in Virginia ... thank GOD ... but I suspect he will soon "spread his wings" and move on as well before much longer ... he has big dreams that I am sure will be fulfilled ... he writes rap lyrics and plans to become an entertainment entrepreneur and one day own his own nite club ... he is a very introspective and loves to spend time to himself ... it gives him the quiet he needs to search his soul to find the answers he seeks ...
My husband and I have two dogs ... Brea and Keenu ... and ... three cats ... Ezra ... Jazmine and Damion ...
Brea was born October 1990 at our local SPCA ... her mother was brought in cuz of biting a child ... not sure of the circumstances ... but she was pregnant and the child probably deserved it ... lol ... you know how kids love to pick on animals ... anyway ... the owner took mom and pups back home and was told she could bring the puppies back when they were six weeks old ... turns out ... she actually brought them back at four weeks ... so I adopted Brea when she was only five weeks old ... she is "Mommy's Baby Girl" and has been my faithful companion all these years ... she has long black and tan fur and is some kind of Terrier mix ... I am trying very hard to prepare myself for the time she has to leave this world ... but I know ... no matter how hard I try ... I will be devastated when the time comes ...
Keenu was born November 1997 ... he is my "Christmas Angel" ... he is a solid white Jack Russell Terrier ... well he has a couple of black spots ... but they are barely noticeable ... cept right after a bath when he's wet ... in actuality ... he is a $250 mutt ... lol ... he is finally starting to calm down ... but he was definitely the perpetual puppy for a long long time ... he is absolutely a mama's boy and follows me everywhere ... in fact ... Brian teases him if I leave the room ... saying ... mommy's leaving you ... you better go get her ... lol ... he is certainly a nut case ... I know I am not the only one that will miss Brea terribly when she passes on ...
Ezra and Jazmine are both Siamese ... Ezra ... born on Valentine's Day 1993 ... is a chocolate-point ... and Jazmine ... born July something 1993 ... I cant remember the exact date now ... is a seal-point ... I actually only wanted one Siamese cat ... but ... I was encouraged by an x to get a female so we could breed them ... and I was stupid enough to do it ...
Well ... we ended up with three kittens out of three litters ... Reo ... Diablo and Serena ... it was totally insane ... and made worse by the fact that ... before the first litter was even born ... we had taken in two more kittens ... Kali ... a beautiful tiger stripped ... calico mix ... she was such a sweetie ... and ... Damion ... a solid black mutt cat I call my Mufasa ... so at one time ... we had seven cats and two dogs plus aquariums of fish ... ACK ... yes it was way too much ... and all the cats were indoor cats at that ...
Eric found a home for Diablo and Serena ... cuz it just became too much to handle ... and ... unfortunately Kali and Reo are no longer with us either ... Kali went into kidney failure January 2001 ... out of the blue ... hadnt been sick a day ... and Reo passed on while Brian and I were on our honeymoon two months later ... so that was pretty rough ... so we are left with the three cats ... but they are also getting on up there in age ... and I am fully expecting them to start going one right after the other ... it will certainly be a very sad time in my life ...
Ok ... enough of that ... lets go on to something a little lighter ... lol ... my favorite TV shows are ... Boston Public, Alley McBeal (which they've taken off the air), South Park, Friends, ER, Law and Order SVU ... and ... HBO Originals ... especially ... Sex in the City, Oz, Six Feet Under and Arli$$ ... I also like shows like Temptation Island and American Idol ... but never got into Fear Factor or Survivor ...
On the other hand ... my husband's favorite TV shows are sports ... The Simpsons ... sports ... King of the Hill ... sports ... South Park ... sports ... Saturday Night Live ... sports ... Insomniac ... sports ... The Man Show ... sports ... Jackass ... and ... you guessed it ... sports ... ugh ... and if he isnt watching sports ... he's playing golf ... yes ... I am a weed widow ... lol ...
We actually had to create TV nites ... which for the most part has worked well ... however ... on the occasions we do watch TV together ... I absolutely hate for him to get his hands on the remote ... which I believe is permanently attached to him ... lol ... cuz he will watch a movie for 15-20 minutes ... then just when you start getting into it ... he changes the channel ... must be a man thing ... its actually not so bad anymore ... since they took all my shows off the air ... grrrr ... cuz I stay on the puter more and hardly ever watch TV anymore ... problem solved ... LOL
Speaking of movies ... notice how I very slickly changed the subject ... my favorites include ... Titanic ... Ever After ... Message in a Bottle ... What Dreams May Come ... The Color Purple ... Green Fried Tomatoes ... Batteries Not Included ... to name a few ...
But of course ... you guessed it ... my husband likes movies like ... There's Something About Mary ... Waterboy ... Happy Gilmore ... Tin Cup ... X-Men and Matrix ... which I liked too actually ... but not a billion times ... over and over again ...
Ok ... so we dont have the same taste in movies or TV shows ... but that is why opposites attract ... to balance each other ... my husband brought laughter into my life ... thats a GoooD thing ... and I am trying to bring some deeper meaning and purpose into his ... I'll let you know if it works ... LOL ... well as of this writing ... still no luck ... but I'll keep trying :))
I enjoy dancin and singin to all types of music ... Music is my Passion ... and ... consider myself to be eclectic ... if that sounds familiar ... its cuz I stole it from my girl ... Whoopie (Sister Act 2) ... I like anything from rock to country ... heavy metal to alternative ... reggae ... hip hop and some rap ... but my all time favorite is soul music ... especially from the 80s ... sometime in the future ... I will have Musical Passions open for your viewing ... and more importantly ... your listening pleasure ... so stay tuned ...
I also get a thrill by gettin drilled on ... tattoos ... duh ... been tryin to work on a full back piece with birds, flowers, butterflies and half naked male/female fairies ... finished off with tribal accents ... but that has been a work in progress for so many years I've lost count ... finished pieces ... however ... include a tribal bird on my right thigh and a dragon on my right calf ...
I luv to ride ... especially Harley Davidson's ... live to ride ... ride to live ... and ... I collect Harley T-shirts from all over ... anyone wishing to make a donation to my collection is more than welcome ... my most treasured t-shirt comes from Sturges ... a dear friend of mine brought it back for me one of the last times he was able to go ... rest in peace my friend ...
I used to collect animated Disney movies ... but I got most of them now ... I still collect miniseries, carousel horses, crystal figurines, old coins, seashell chimes and oriental decor ... and ... my newest and latest obsession ... is to bring back ... at least one ... driftwood sculpture every time we visit Florida ... last time we went ... in addition to a couple driftwood sculptures ... I brought back a beautiful canvas wall hanging ... decorated with seashells ... ut oh ... I see another collection starting ... soon I will have about everything ocean related cept the wavs ... oh ... and sand up my butt ... lol ...
I love nature and anything natural ... the ocean, the woods, makin love, fields of flowers, the mountains, waterfalls, full moons and sunsets ... I am moved by the blue of the sky, the scent of fresh cut grass and burning leaves, the sound of the ocean waves breaking the shore and thunderstorms ... anything that looks, smells, sounds, tastes or feels GoooD ... I live by my senses as do all born under the sign of the bull ... ruled by Venus ... Goddess of Love ...
My favorite time of the year is Spring ... when everything is reborn and the colors of life are awakened once again ... to look forward to the hot lazy days of Summer and in turn ... the cool energizin nights of Autumn ... I hate the cold and dead darkness of Winter ... and ... Taz does NOT do Mondays ...
I believe in GOD ... that HE is my higher power
I believe that we are all created equal ... but that some of us ... unfortunately ... were dealt a rougher bunch of cards to play the game of life with ... so I always try to see things from all points of view ... I dont always succeed ... but I do try ...
My friends come from all walks of life ... all races, creeds, sexual orientations, colors and religions ... "they may be weird creatures straight out of the world of Toulouse-Lautree or they may be Norman Rockwell paintings come to life" ... thanx Linda Goodman ... but they will be real people and if I count u as my friend ... I will be loyal through all our ups and downs ...

I am sooooo loving it ... it has 3-bedrooms ... 1-bath ... living room ... kitchen/dinning combined
full ... unfinished ... walk-out basement and sits on just over 2 beautifully wooded acres
needless to say ... I enjoyed buying new furniture and decorating using all the kewl stuff I collected
but ... didnt care too much for the painting and moving ... lol
the bad news ...
we lost Damion the end of March 2004
it was totally unexpected and I was completely hysterical upon finding him
have no idea what happened ... there was no evidence of trauma
and he hadnt been dead long cuz he was still warm when I found him
but he must have known his time was near cuz he never came to me
the billion times I had called him starting the nite before
thankfully ... as always ... GOD was watching out for me
he knew losing Damion would be too much for me
so just days before he died ... I was sent five little bundles of joy
in the form of one month old puppies
they kept me so buzy and so entertained it was hard to be too sad
altho I will forever love and miss Damion
I think he must have asked for a favor ... cuz he didnt want me to be sad when he left
The pups ... compliments of a stray hound that had them in the woods near our home ... are now 6 1/2 months old and weighing between 50 and 60 lbs a piece ... oh yes ... didnt you figure out we were nuts yet ... we kept them all ... and named them ... Elvis ... Priscilla (Cilla for short) ... Jerry Lee ... Dion and Dylan ... notice a pattern here ... lol ... they really have been a joy to me ... all very sweet natured but with very distinctive personalities ... hmmmmm ... I think I see another webpage being added to my site in the future ... lol
